A voice AI support workflow should be evaluated by the cost of completing the support task, including human follow-up. Connected-minute pricing is one input; it does not establish a savings percentage by itself.

This guide replaces an earlier unsupported customer-savings claim with a calculation you can reproduce using your own records.

Start with a comparable support task

Choose one enquiry type, such as collecting information for an order-status request. Define completion before comparing costs. A call that ends without the required answer or follow-up should not count as a resolved case.

Record the same task mix and quality criteria for your existing process and pilot. Include unsuccessful attempts and escalations in operating costs. Comparing a simple automated enquiry with a complex human case can produce a misleading result.

Calculate connected voice usage

ConversAI Labs voice calls use 4 credits per connected minute. At ₹1 per credit, that is ₹4/minute. For example, 1,000 billable connected minutes use 4,000 credits, equivalent to ₹4,000. This is arithmetic using the current rate, not a customer result. See pricing for the current offer and review account terms for allowances and billing details.

Include the rest of the workflow

Build a worksheet with separate rows for voice usage, integration work, quality review, human follow-up and other applicable costs. Amortize one-time implementation work over an explicitly chosen period; do not silently exclude it.

For the existing process, include the comparable staff time and tools needed to complete the same task. Use actual costs available to your team rather than assuming that all staff time is an immediate cash saving.

Compare cost per completed task

Divide each process's total cost by its number of tasks completed under the same definition. Report completion quality, escalation rate and repeat-contact rate alongside cost. A lower cost per call can hide a higher cost per resolved enquiry.

If the pilot has no completed tasks, cost per completion is undefined. Do not report zero. Investigate the failed transitions before estimating an improvement.

Decide using your pilot data

Keep the baseline window, pilot window, sample size and exceptions visible. Identify changes in task mix or staffing that could explain the result. Expand only after reviewing the saved support records and the human follow-up workload.

The voice workflow guide explains how to connect triggers, calls and recorded next actions. The quickstart provides the platform entry point.
